Spring Book Show 2009 Wrap-up

     Buyers took strong advantage of the more than 50,000 book titles offered for sale by vendors attending the three-day Spring Book Show at Atlanta’s Cobb Galleria Centre on March 6-8. Vendors were surprised by unusually robust sales and heavy attendance despite the struggling economy.  [FULL STORY]

Pot-o-Gold Prizes Awarded
   Sunday events at the Spring Book Show included the announcement of the Pot-o-Gold winners of various prizes from books donated by Bargain Books Wholesale, Globe Pequot Press, SAS Discount Christian Books and Wordsworth Classics, to an assortment of calendars from Bullseye Calendars, to free GABBS hotel nights, Book Expo registrations, SIBA memberships and Anvil advertising and free press release.

"GABBS" Moves to Boston
   Our Summer show, The Great American Bargain Book Show ("GABBS"), is journeying north!  Historical Boston, MA will host the show on Aug. 21-22.
    The first-ever two-day venue will be held at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston's Back Bay area.  A block of rooms has been reserved at the connecting Sheraton Hotel.
